Completing exams with God's help

by Christine Lamwaka

Over the last three weeks I have been doing my final university exams and it has been a tough time for me. And God has been doing a lot of wonders during the three weeks. As a student, always exam's periods are full of anxiety and fever, and I was one of the victims as well this time… lol as I had cough and flu during the exam period and I did my first paper when I was sick. However, through the power of God, I have been praying to recover before my next exams and I am sure Sr. Bev my Spiritual leader has been praying for me as well because the first time we had a meeting with her, she asked me for the dates of my exams so that she will be praying for us – that is I and Phillip – and I am very happy and thankful about it.

When I went for my second exam, I was feeling good and better. There is nothing impossible to God, this is because I prayed to Him and He answered my prayers during that time. That is why it is always good to put God as number one in our daily lives and in all what we do. Finally my exams are over and I am still praying to get a good result so I dedicate all the markers in God's hands.

Not to mention my last day of exam that is Friday the 25th June 2010. I had my last exam in the morning and I was excited about the Diocesan youth mass which was taking place in the evening that same day, where I met lots of friends from different parishes. The preaching during the mass was so amazing plus the singing and I enjoyed it forgetting all the stress for exams and I felt relaxed that night and happy. As I have come to the end of my Uni life, I am feeling excited and nervous… lol because I do not know what to decide after and how the future is going to be when I graduate. Therefore now focusing on the way forward, not forgetting and leaving God behind and hope all will be fine and normal.
