It's tough to find balance with so many demands on time from work, university, home life, soccer, basketball and the Church! It’s challenging but exciting at the same time to see so many things come into fruition. Delegation is a powerful tool in getting things done and is often a challenge to leave things in other people’s hands and to trust them to get the job done. But with this trust more things can be accomplished! In this way it’s been great over the last few weeks to be approached by several people who are wanting to get a few things done around the parish! – great work!
The highlight for me over the last few weeks has been the kick-off meeting for the musical concert we are planning to hold! It’s great seeing Matt and an entire team around the Blacktown parish get together to plan such a massive event that will definitely be something to look forward to! It’s great to see the involvement and excitement of fresh, rejuvenated faces!
Another standout was attending Vita! It was a small group of 6 kids but the people who were there wanted to be there and were having the best time! Bigger may not always be better; the quality of the experience and the ability of these children to have a great time in small numbers and to learn about God in this way is amazing and is very encouraging to see.
Things are looking bright!
