The Catechists are commissioned for this ministry by our parish to teach and training is provided for all teachers.

The RCIA program is a process which adults prepare to receive the three Sacraments of Initiation - Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist

The RCIA Team, meet regularly with these adults in preparation for full initiation into the Catholic Church.

Loaves and Fishes

Loaves and Fishes is an outreach program of the parish operated by volunteers offering food to people in need in the Blacktown area.

Opening Hours: 10.00am – 2.30pm Monday – Friday.

Loaves & Fishes is closed on Public Holidays and weekends.

Little Miracles

The "Little Miracles" (Children's Liturgy Programme) meet every second Sunday of the month at 9.45am in the Parish Dining Room.

The Programme follows the reading of the day, is simple but fun, using prayers, songs and plenty of activities.

Music Ministry

The parish has a wide variety of music groups who contribute to the enhancement of the Sunday liturgies. These include several Parish Groups and choirs from the African, Tongan, Samoan and Filipino communities.

The Parish Choir is a group of enthusiastic parishioners who prepare for the 10am Sunday liturgy each Thursday evening (7:00-9:00). All parishioners are invited to join this group.

Please contact the Parish Office if you would like to contribute to the Celebration of any of our Sunday Liturgies through singing or playing the organ or other musical instruments.

Sacraments of Initiation

This parish based family centered process involves parents and children in the preparation of the Sacraments of Initiation and the Sacrament of Penance. This involves preparation for Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist and Reconciliation.

Altar Servers/Senior Servers

Senior Servers assist the priest on the altar during the celebration of mass and other liturgies. They also prepare the sacred vessels for the celebration. Senior Servers are officially commissioned after completing a training course.

Boys and girls who have made their first communion and confirmation are invited to be Altar Servers. They too assist the Priest and Senior Servers at Sunday Mass and at other special liturgies.
